Rain Chains

Rain chains are decorative alternatives to traditional downspouts used in gutter systems. They are often made of metal, copper, or other materials and serve both functional and aesthetic purposes. Instead of directing rainwater through a closed downspout, rain chains guide water from the roof to the ground in a visually pleasing manner.

Rain chains come in various designs, shapes, and materials, offering a decorative element to the exterior of homes and buildings. Common designs include cups, funnels, or links that create an attractive and unique visual display as water cascades down.

At the base of the rain chain, there is often a splash block, basin, or decorative container to collect and disperse the water. This helps prevent soil erosion and directs water away from the building's foundation.

In colder climates, rain chains can be paired with accessories such as rain chain extensions or basin heaters to prevent freezing and ice buildup, ensuring continuous functionality during winter.

Rain chains not only provide an elegant and artistic touch to a property but also create a unique way to experience the flow of rainwater. They offer an eco-friendly and visually appealing solution for directing rainwater away from the roof while enhancing the overall aesthetics of the exterior space.
